Hello, my name is Melissa. I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2010. My work would be described as Deep Therapeutic Massage with an individualized approach to the body. I like to focus on specific clinical conditions while being detailed in the area I am working on. My goal is to help relieve tight muscles from everyday use or injuries from overuse. I have been known for my ability to give deep pressure and help lessen chronic pain in clients. I like to use myoskeletal alignment techniques (MAT) to help with posture correction and pain relief. I as well have a soft touch for those needing a more relaxing and comforting massage whether it be for medical reasons or just looking to relax.
I continued my education by getting certified in Oncology Massage, LymphaticDrainage Massage, and Orthopedic Massage. I am trained in Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques (MAT) and I am working towards my Master Myoskeletal certification (MMT). I also have a soft touch and am passionate about helping others create a healthy balance in their lives by relieving any pain and stress while being a positive addition to their self-care. I have a genuine desire to help others and feel lucky to be able to share the gift of massage with my clients.
